Scoring
oints for any title awarded to a participant of a
show held within the Rating are taken into account while determining the results of the Rating.
The points awarded for the title are multiplied by the coefficient of the show category.
The participants score points within the current calendar year.
At the beginning of the next calendar year the results of the TopCat Rating for the previous year are announced, and the best pets, breeders, catteries and clubs are determined.
Scoring rules do not change within the current calendar year.
-
Points are scored for the following titles:
- Titles awarded at Best in Show.
- Titles awarded at mono- and multibreed shows.

The number of the participants is the number of the pets judged by an expert being in charge for awarding the title during both days of the show (participation in mono-breed shows and rings is not taken into account).
Table 1 - Coefficients depending on the show category:

Adult Category
Please, note

Adult animals are divided into the following hair groups within Best in Show:
-LH (longhair)

-SOSH (siamese oriental shorthair)
При численности основных категорий (LH, SLH, SH, SOSH) менее 15 животных, группа объединяется с:
- LH c SLH
- SOSH с SH
If there are less than 15 animals in the main categories (LH, SLH, SH, SOSH), the categories are combined in the following manner:
- LH and SLH
- SOSH and SH
If a mono-breed show is held within an exhibition, and there are more than 15 pets of that breed, this group may be nominated for Best in Show independently (this should be agreed with the organization that has issued a license for the show).
